The Interview about "ZAKU TOFU"

The interview of Torigoe Junji, president of Sagamiya Foods, was published in Nikkei (Japan Economics Newspaper). In 2010, Sagamiya Foods released "ZAKU TOFU" and it had sold one million pieces in about two months.

When I went to an amusement park with my daughter, I happened to find "Gundam Exhibition" there.
Actually I am a big fan of Gundam. I entered the exhibition and found that several companies were exhibiting collaboration products of Gundam. And then, I could not repress my passion that I wanted to collaborate with Gundam too.
The reasons for victory were that I dared to choose not a Gundam but a mass production type Zaku, and chose a salty bean flavor for going well with alchole.
